Abstract
The square of the Hellenistic Gymnasium in Olympia was surrounded by four halls. The one in the east had a length of almost 200 m. During the excavation of the Greek Ephorate of Antiquities of Elis between 2013 and 2015, thick layers of fragmented roof tiles and building materials were found. The find contexts are documented within the project »Digital Roofs«. On the one hand, the roof tile fragments were obviously used secondarily as building material. On the other hand, however, the stoa seems to have been roofed with reused tiles during the final repair phase.
