Abstract
The project focuses on different phases of Punic Carthage. Different parts of houses, giving an idea of their original plan, mark the beginning and early phases of the Phoenician settlement. The buildings were renovated several times. At the beginning of the 5th century AD, the area was completely changed into a sanctuary with various buildings and open spaces, undergoing a number of alterations until the end of the Punic capital in 146 BC. After the destruction, traces of buildings of early and middle Imperial Times remain; the greater part of the settlement, though, has been destroyed by huge constructions of Late Antiquity.Downloads
