Abstract
In Ampurias on the north of the Iberian Peninsula and on the Balearic Islands Mallorca and Minorca isolated bronze figures mainly from the 6th and 5th century BC have been found. Here two lion’s heads are discussed which point two different production landscapes. In the previous literature they were usually assigned Vulci. The question is raised whether they stand in connection with the wine trade which was pursued by the Etruscans in Ampurias.
