Abstract
In this paper we present a new proposal of architectural restitution of the Roman theatre in Segobriga, in one of the best preserved archaeological site in Spain. This proposal restitution is based on the analysis of the information provided by de archaeological data, on the scientific reference work on Roman theatres and the architectural models and on the archaeological 3D drawing to verify and display the results. The realisation of this proposal allowed us to approach the analysis of the construction process and understand the changes needed to adapt the architectural model to the specific of its topography and urban environment. It was also analysed the symbolic impact of the building to the Segobriguensis population in the historical context of its construction.
