Abstract

Since 2021, the sanctuary of Athena Kranaia has been the subject of intensive research as part of the »Kephissos Valley Project« (DAI Athens). With the help of modern surveying techniques such as Structure from Motion, a detailed documentation of numerous structural remains of the complex was created in order to better understand the construction and utilisation history of the temenos. The results will contribute to the reconstruction of the temple and to analysing the significance of the sanctuary in the Phocian ritual landscape.
