Abstract

At the German Archaeological Institute (DAI), a digital hub for all important information for the realm of research data management (RDM) was compiled for the researchers and presented in a domain-specific format. Little new content had to be created, the challenges lay in the compilation, readability and usability as well as the simplification of the extensive material. The Confluence software was used for implementation. The conception, layout, structure and tools used are described in detail. Applied and tested procedures to counteract the obsolescence of information as far as possible and to enable maintainability are presented. The RDM division at the DAI was set up in less than a year, and recommendations for implementation and streamlining are given.
