Abstract

This article publishes eight inscriptions discovered by Louis Robert in Mysia. The most important is from Attea, and mentions a proconsul of Asia under Augustus; other texts include a statue-base in honor of Claudius, two imperial letters, a verse-inscription, dedications to Theos Olbios and Hermes, and the first inscription from a site probably to be identified with Pioniai. A topographical discussion concerns Attea, Pioniai, and Hiera Germe, which may have been located at Ilıca Köy north of Balıkesir (Hadrianoutherai).
