Abstract
This article aims to present two new inscriptions found at Didyma, one of late archaic and one of early Hellenistic date. The first, a dedication by a certain Thrasys, also provides an opportunity for a revision of the text on the dedication by a man named Histiaios, which had disappeared in the 19th c. and has now been rediscovered. The dedication by a certain Aristagore from the first half of the 3rd c. BC is then used as a starting point for a discussion of the erection of statues depicting members of prominent families of Miletus in the temple of Apollo at Didyma.
