Abstract

In preparation for the corpus of inscriptions from Kos (IG XII 4) new inscriptions dating from the Roman imperial period are edited: Letters of the emperor Claudius from 47/48 AD, honorific monuments for Roman proconsuls and priestesses from Kos as well as epigraphic evidence of gladiatorial games and sepulchral habits on Kos.
