Militärdiplome für Moesia (Moesia, Moesia superior, Moesia inferior)

Abstract

Fragments of 14 new diplomas are published, dating from the reign of Vespasian to Antoninus Pius and including in addition amendments to two published diplomas. Some of the constitutions are new, others can now be restored and interpreted better. New information is provided about the military history of Moesia and the prosopography of the two high ordines. With the material published in this volume, the provinces of Moesia have yielded more auxiliary diplomas than any other.
