La Moire à Apollonia de Phrygie: deux décrets de consolation de l’epoque d’Hadrien

Abstract
New study and edition of a stele from Apollonia in Phrygia (Uluborlu), previously published in 2012 and extant in two fragments. The fragments probably join. The stele bears two consolation decrees (118/119 CE) addressed to the parents of a brother and sister who died in the space of a few weeks. The young man, Thrasymachos, possibly a student, died abroad. His sister Ammia, portrayed as an ideal wife, was the mother of very young children. The style and vocabulary are found echoed in numerous funerary epigrams of the same period, especially in Asia Minor.
