Istanbuler Forschungen
The »Istanbuler Forschungen« series publishes monographs with the results of basic research into the archaeology and cultural history of Asia Minor and neighbouring areas from early history to the Ottoman period. In line with the specialist spectrum of the Istanbul Department of the German Archaeological Institute, the thematic focus is on prehistoric archaeology, Near Eastern archaeology, Classical archaeology, Byzantine archaeology and building research. From the publication year 2025, the Istanbuler Forschungen will not only be available as a printed book, but also in digital form as a free PDF accessible without restrictions.
All manuscripts submitted for publication in Istanbuler Forschungen are subject to a peer review process.
