Guidelines for authors
In order to minimise the costs and editorial work involved in preparing our publications for printing, we urge you to read the DAI's current guidelines carefully and to follow them carefully when writing your manuscript. Manuscripts should be submitted complete and typeset for review. This applies equally to text, annotations, illustrations, supplements, legends, figure references, etc. The author is responsible for the content and correctness of citations as well as for clarifying image rights and obtaining publication authorisation. The editorial process only begins with the submission of the complete manuscript. Submitted manuscripts that do not meet the general linguistic standards and formal requirements will be returned to the author for revision by the editorial team with a request to harmonise them with the current DAI guidelines before they are passed on to the reviewers. Please note that the inclusion of the work in the Athenaia series and its integration into the volume numbering can only take place after the external review of the manuscript. This in turn can only take place after the submission of a complete and typeset manuscript.
