Archäologische Forschungen
The Archäologische Forschungen encompasses a broad spectrum of studies in monographic or multi-volume form, whereby the thematic focus is on the Greek and Roman cultural area. The subjects of the studies are, on the one hand, summarising overviews and discussions of specific monuments and architectural complexes and, on the other hand, compilations and documentations of groups of monuments that have so far been treated disparately or not dealt with at all. In addition, the archaeological research also includes comparative, synchronic and diachronic work. Coherent presentations of excavation results from larger archaeological sites are published in sub-series within Archäologische Forschungen. These include the Priene and Aizanoi series.
