Abstract
With regard to the Italic black glaze pottery (so-called Campana-ware) and its imitations in Munigua, an overview is given here for the first time. It is broadly based, since it also includes somre considerations about the contemporaneous settlement and its position in the region However, the investigation can only have a preliminary character. It is based on the evaluation of the finds from the excavations of the German Archaeological Institute over a period of 30 years between 1956 and 1986, a work that can only be continued when the depots of the Archaeological Museum of Seville are accessible again after the extensive renovation. On the other hand, our knowledge about the pre-Imperial settlement is too limited as to provide even a remotely complete picture.
