Contexto y funcionalidad de las representaciones escultóricas pétreas de Pollentia

Abstract

Once concluded research’s primary phase about all the sculptural material originated in the roman city of Pollentia (Alcudia, Mallorca), with the focus on those made of stone, in this paper the study about their situational context is presented. At the end a new contribution to Pollentia’s historiography is obtained, and sculpture’s urban distribution in public or in private contexts.
