Abstract
This paper is a preliminary report of the archaeological excavations carried out in the plot of the former ‘Cine Cómico’ (Cádiz). A long stratigraphical sequence from the 9th century to Late Roman Age has been well attested. Five clay seals (cretulae) found into a domestic kiln are specifically published and analysed. These items suggest the existence of an archive in one of the excavated houses. In order to contextualize these findings, the urban layout (houses, streets) and the pottery, related to the that of strata V–III of Tyre, are also described.
