Abstract
In the leveled rubble of a monumental building, the foundation of which can be dated by radiocarbon dating to the Old Hittite period, a drinking vessel in the shape of a clenched fist was found. This vessel, made of a clay that is very rare in Ḫattuša and decorated with an equally rare decoration, allows conclusions to be drawn about cultural, religious and craft connections to the regions south of the Taurus.
