Abstract
Edition of an opistographic stele found on the island of Lepsia in the year 2000. The front of the stone bears the beginning of a Milesian popular decree (2nd half of the 2nd century BCE) to the effect that a boundary description so far recorded only on wooden tablets should be inscribed on stone. On occasion of the demarcation of sacred land, the existing boundary markers are to be reviewed and inscribed with the word ὅρος. The back gives part of the actual document, referred to as a περιορισμός, to which,
as it now turns out, the inscription I.isol. miles. 33 from Patmos also belongs.
