Inscribing Death in Southern Aeolis. Remarks on the Funerary Inscriptions from Kyme and Myrina

This paper provides an updated overview of the epigraphical evidence from the necropoleis of the Aeolic sites of Kyme and Myrina. A fresh approach to the available funerary texts gives inter alia a number of new insights into the prosopography of this part of the Aeolis and the social position of both dedicants and dedicatees.
