The series Baghdader Forschungen contains publications on archaeological research in Mesopotamia. It has been published since 1979 and will be continued from volume 26 as a sub-series of Orient-Archäologie.

Manuscripts have to be submitted to the head of the Baghdad branch of the Orient Department of the German Archaeological Institute. The guidelines for the preparation of manuscripts can be obtained from the editorial office of the Orient Department.
