Synopsis
The urban settlement of the ›Circle of the Strait‹ is
studied from the point of view of construction techniques.
Baelo Claudia, Banasa, and Carteia are then
analyzed from this perspective. Raw materials,
extraction techniques, transport, and structural
implementation are some of the data that will be
addressed in these pages. This work helps to understand
another facet of the geohistoric region of the ›Circle of
the Strait‹ during the first moments of the Roman
Empire.
