Abstract
In 2001, a collection of amphorae was found in Huelva during work on the installation of a fibre optic network. Excavations revealed the connection with a Late Roman settlement destroyed in 1976 during work on the building of Barrio La Orden (a neighbourhood in Huelva). After further analysis, it has been determined that this discovery constitutes a new type of amphora to which we have assigned the name »Huelva Type«. This is the subject of our presentation.
