Abstract
The Hercules bronze statuette of the Archaeological Musem of Cadiz is inserted in the wide range of performances in small format, whose varied typology and whose character of ex-voto credited expansion and strength of the cult of Hercules in Hispania. The importance of the Cadiz statuette is the origin related to the environment of the Herakleion and a peculiar, evocative iconographic characterization of the image of the wise or philosopher. The transformation of the hero connects with the image of time and mostly boasts the illustrated ideal that personifies Hadrian.
